Year: 2003
Directed By: Ryuhei Kitamura
Written By: Tsutomu Takahashi (comic book), Isao Kiriyama (screenplay)
Starring: Yumiko Shaku, Takao Osawa, Shosuke Tanihara
IMDB Link: http://imdb.com/title/tt0398563/
Synopsis: A serial killer and his henchwoman — looking to create a supernatural cataclysm for evil ends — literally rip the heart out of Mina (Yumiko Shaku), who’s engaged to Kanzaki (Shosuke Tanihara) … the detective investigating the bizarre string of homicides. But the gumshoe gets more than he bargained for when he hunts down Mina’s murderers and finds his dead fiancée trapped in a ghostly state of limbo in director Ryuhei Kitamura’s stylish flick.
My Review: This movie wasn’t merely an entertaining piece of film. It was beautiful. A beautiful love story that is entangled into an other worldly mess. You even feel for the bad guy when you find out why he is doing what he is doing. If love really existed like in this movie, then this world would be a better place.
I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Year: 2007
Directed By: Scott Thomas
Written By: Sidney Iwanter, Mark Onspaugh
Starring: David Chisum, Kristen Kerr, Kevin J. O’Connor
IMDB Link: http://imdb.com/title/tt0780583/
Synopsis: During a transatlanic flight, a corpse emerges from the cargo hold and lays waste to the passengers, turning them into zombies. A handful of travelers try to stop the ghoulish horde, but how do you fight the undead at 30,000 feet above the ocean? The living passengers get wildly creative in this wickedly funny, fabulously bloody gore fest.
My Review: Who ever wrote the synopsis for this movie should be drugged out into the streets and stoned to death! This movie was far from creative, no where near close to being wickedly funny and had hardly any gore in it. It was a complete waste of time and money. Stay far away from this movie. If you see it on the shelves run the other way, fast.
I give it 0 out of 5 stars.

Thank the good Lord that, at the present, I have no fillings. My mother, on the other hand, has fillings and I seen all the pain and embarrassment that she has gone through when they come out. Especially when she is having dinner with someone or talking with various people. One time when her filling decided to try to “escape” it was at the late Friday night at the start of a three day weekend which the dental office wasn’t upon on Saturday or Sundays and since Monday was a holiday my Mom has to wait until Tuesday to even get a doctor to see her. So she spent that whole time in pain, trying to relieve the throbbing with ora-gel (which didn’t really help). What she really need to get a hold of and keep in the medicine cabinet just for those types of emergencies is Dentemp OS.
Dentemp OS is a wonderful product that I just learned about today that is a must for anyone with fillings, caps or crowns. It was developed by a professional dentist and complies with the FDA Regulations for Oral Care. It is a temporary dental repair solution that will relieve the throbbing pain immediately after you apply it. There is no mixing required and it is ready to us and easy to apply. After you apply Dentemp OS you are able to start chewing again in 30 minutes!
This product would of helped my mother immensely!

Year: 2007
Directed By: Stephen Hopkins
Written By: Carey and Chad Hayes
Starring: Hilary Swank, David Morrissey, Idris Elba
IMDB Link: http://imdb.com/title/tt0444682/
Synopsis: n the wake of a devastating tragedy that killed every member of her family, Christian missionary Katherine Morrissey loses her faith in God, devoting the rest of her life to debunking religious phenomena with the principles of science. But when she’s called to a small Southern town to investigate a series of strange occurrences that appear to be biblical plagues, she runs out of logical explanations.
My Review: This movie was no where near as bad as I thought it was going to be. It was pretty entertaining although some of the scenes can become confusing. And the twist at the end, which I figured out about 1/2 way through the movie (yep I deserve a friggin cookie) was predictable and lacking in imagination. I say don’t buy, rent it or wait until it comes to HBO or Cinemax.
I give it 3 out of 5 stars.
